Educational Trip to Imagica Theme Park

 The Department of B.Voc Software Development at AKI’s Poona College of Arts, Science, and Commerce organized an educational and recreational trip to Imagica Theme Park on 1st February 2025. The trip was conducted under the esteemed guidance and support of Dr. Iqbal N. Shaikh (Principal), Dr. Amjad Shaikh (Vice Principal), and Dr. Imran Baig Mirza (Coordinator, B.Voc Software Development). The trip was meticulously planned and coordinated by Ms. Nikhat Hurzuk (Assistant Professor) and Mr. Farooque Shaikh (Nodal Officer, B.Voc Department), who also accompanied the students along with *Dr. Imran Baig Mirza* to ensure a smooth and enjoyable experience.  



A total of 34 students and 3 faculty members embarked on this much-awaited trip. The journey commenced from the college campus at *6:30 AM, with students filled with excitement and anticipation. After a comfortable journey, the group reached Imagica at *10:30 AM. Upon arrival, students were briefed about the park’s attractions, safety guidelines, and the itinerary for the day.  


Imagica, known for its thrilling rides and immersive experiences, offered students a perfect blend of adventure, fun, and relaxation. Some of the most exhilarating rides included:  

- Nitro – A high-speed roller coaster that tested the thrill-seekers' courage.  

- Scream Machine – A giant rotating pendulum ride that provided an adrenaline rush.  

- Deep Space – An indoor roller coaster that simulated an intergalactic journey.  

- Gold Rush Express – A wild west-themed roller coaster that thrilled the students.  

- Rajasaurus River Adventure – A dinosaur-themed water ride that combined storytelling with excitement.  

- I for India – A mesmerizing cinematic experience showcasing the beauty of India.  

- Mr. India – A 4D ride that transported students into the iconic Bollywood film.  



The students actively participated in various activities, enjoyed thrilling rides, and explored the park's unique attractions. The trip also served as an opportunity for team bonding and stress relief, allowing students to unwind from their academic routine.  


After an eventful day, the group left Imagica at 7:00 PM and embarked on their return journey. In a thoughtful and heartwarming gesture, Mr.  Farhan Shaikh, Owner of The  Zam Zam Travels,  personally met the group in the middle of the return journey and distributed chocolates to all students and staff members, adding a sweet conclusion to an already memorable experience.  


The group arrived back at the college by 10:30 PM, from where the students proceeded to their respective homes with smiles and unforgettable memories. The trip was a resounding success, thanks to the meticulous planning and efforts of the organizing team. The support from the college administration and faculty members played a crucial role in making this trip enjoyable and safe for all. The students expressed their gratitude for this wonderful opportunity and looked forward to more such enriching experiences in the future.
